Welcome to Jumpstart 

Summer Camp!

We’re here to help kids get active and have fun all summer long! Just like a regular camp, we’ll have campers, awesome counsellors (some of Canada's best athletes and special guests) and cool weekly themes. The best part? You can take part virtually from your own home!


How does it work? We’ll share activities every weekday at 8:30 a.m. Eastern on our Instagramand Facebook pages. Simply tune in, and your kids can follow along - no sign-up required! Kids won’t need anything except themselves (and maybe a few simple things from around the house). Don’t forget sunscreen, of course.

Each week, kids will get the chance to learn new skills from Canada’s top athletes - then it’s their turn to show off! Every Tuesday we’ll announce a special weekly challenge for kids to try at home.

Here’s how it works:

  • On Tuesday morning, head to our Instagram to find out what the weekly challenge is.
  • Practice, practice, practice! Once you're ready, parents or caregivers are invited to snap a photo or film a short video of your kids taking part in the activity.
  • Once you have the perfect shot, send it to us at: jumpstartsummercamp@cantire.com by Thursday at 9 p.m. Eastern. 
  • We’ll share our favourites on Instagram every Friday!

SPEED WEEK: June 29 - July 3

Whether you’re jumping, running or swimming, this week is chock full of tips and tricks to improve your speed, mobility & agility - all hosted by head camp counsellor and Canadian Paralympic swimmer, Benoit Huot.

SOCCER WEEK: July 6-10

Keep ups, throw-ins and penalty kicks - this week will focus on the beautiful game with some help from some superstar soccer players.

There’s no “I” in team. This week we’ll learn about the importance of teamwork, and how to be an awesome and supportive team player.

You don’t need an organized sport to get moving. Whether you're dancing, doing yoga or practicing your best karate chop, all that matters is that you're having fun.
