Sport Relief Fund Spotlight

Our Sport Relief Fund showcase continues with the Ultimate Para Sports Association. Based in Calgary, they support people with disabilities that want to participate in sport by offering adaptive cycling and para cross country skiing programs, wheelchair racing support, and downhill skiing support.

Research shows that kids with disabilities are more sedentary than their peers. The association aims to address this by fostering a positive and inclusive environment and by reaching kids at a young age, building strong habits and a love for sport and movement.

Funding from Jumpstart’s Sport Relief Fund has allowed them to double the capacity of their Junior Adaptive Cycling Program and Junior Para Cross Country Program.
